WANTED

We purchase collections big and small as well as rarer individual records. Soul, Funk, Disco, Jazz, Latin, Brazil, Afro, House and Reggae, vinyl only. LP's, 12's and 7 inches are all of interest. We pay 40-60% cash or give 50-70% trade value of what we will sell for if the price is over 100 SEK for us to sell. The more expensive the record, the higher the percentage. For cheap records under 100 SEK we pay less percentage. We will travel worldwide and give a 10% finders fee for any tips on collections we end up buying.

Vi köper LP skivor, EP's, maxi's och singlar inom speciellt soul, jazz, reggae, vissa rock/progg skivor etc. Vi betalar mellan 40-60% kontant av vad vi säljer skivorna för av de skivor som vi säljer för över 100 kr. De billigare skivorna betalar vi mindre procentuellt för. Ring och maila vad ni har!

VARIOUS / SOFRITO - SOWETO DISCO EP
Another huge 12" from the Sofrito camp! This one holds the cheeky South African take on Lamont Dozier's classic "Going back to my roots" in "Oh yeh Soweto" which has been stirring up a buzz on both the tropical and disco scenes. Also features two edits of very rare S.A. disco funk joints. Comes highly recommended from Recordmania's tropical department.


AARON BROOMFIELD - I'M GONNA MISS YA / POLYPHASE
Reissue of killer boogie tunes, both very collectible on original 12".


FRANK WASHINGTON - ICE
Reissue of fantastic modern soul/boogie that's playing hard to get on original 12".


THE BUDOS BAND - III
Dark, heavy atmosphere as we know and like the Budos Band. Cinematic instrumental funk with a prominent horn section and hard drums. Check "River serpentine" and "Black venom" on the clip.


LLOYD MCNEILL QUARTET - ASHA
Reissue of very rare private press jazz LP with cover art that's worth the money alone. Modal jazz heaven in "Asha", "St. Margaret's church" and "Warmth of a sunny day".


LLOYD MILLER & THE HELIOCENTRICS - OST
Lloyd Miller is one of the masters of eastern-tinged jazz. Here is a new album with the Heliocentrics, and it's got just that sound of mystique and vague implications. Check "Nava", the aptly titled "Spiritual jazz" or "Fantasia pt 1" with breakbeat drums.


JERLINE AND FRIENDS - JOY TRIP (PART 1) / GET IT OFF MY CONSCIENCE
First time on vinyl for shelved project (previously out on CD). "Joy trip" is a fantastic soul tune with huge strings, somewhere between Starvue's "Body fusion" and Rita Wright "Touch me take me". 150 % recommended.


PULSE - SUNSHINE / IT'S A NEW DAY
Lovely 7" reissue of tunes off their very rare LP. "Sunshine" is a monster modern soul dancer, backed with nice uptempo cut "It's a new day". Top recommendation and much cheaper than the LP.


BOBBY JACKSON - THE CAFE EXTRA-ORDINAIRE STORY
Jazzman reissue of very rare private press jazz LP from 1970. "Paul's ark" sounds wonderful, but the LP is strong overall with great tracks as "Fluck flick" and "Ebonite". 1000 copies only, bound to fly out quick.


KELLEE PATTERSON - I'M GONNA LOVE YOU JUST A LITTLE MORE, BABY / MISTER MAGIC
Welcome reissue of her killer version of Barry White's seductive anthem.


MARK SEVEN - SWEPT AWAY / PILLOW TALK
Big 12" from Mark, just when summer really hits. "Swept away" instant piano house that sounds like it was 1988 again! "Pillow talk" more on a boogie tip, with synths reminding me of Reverso 68 "Tokyo disco".
